There are many ways to support your Instrumental Music Program!

Program Donations

At San Ramon Valley High School, we are so fortunate to have a variety of instrumental music classes and activities which include Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra, and Marching Ensemble.  Our Music Director’s salary and the operating cost for the facility are the only items that are paid for by the school district.  Beyond that, each of these classes are completely funded by the Wolf-Tones Boosters.  So without your support, the vibrant program we have would simply not exist.

In fact, Wolf-Tones pays for instrument replacement and repair, bus transportation to competitions and field trips, festival fees, and outside music clinicians, to name just a few components.  Even sheet music is paid for with your gift.  Without these donations, the students would not be able to participate in such a rewarding and award-winning program.  The Wolf-Tones total operating budget for all of these responsibilities is approximately $90,000 each year.  We cannot sustain this wonderful program without your generosity.

Wolf-Tones requests that donations to our instrumental programs be done via Future Fund during registration (see below for links), so that we can best capture our membership and classroom data.  If this is not possible for you, donations can also be made on-line via PayPal on our home page or Future Fund anytime.  You do not need to have a PayPal account to take advantage of our on-line payment option.  Just select the programs your children are involved in and checkout through PayPal.

Donate to The McElroy Orchestral Scholarship Fund

“Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” ~Berthold Auerbach

For many of us, music is a vital part of our lives. Music helps us celebrate our victories. Music helps soothe our sadness. And for many of us, music has given us memories and a camaraderie that changed our lives.

In 2015, we lost a member of our Wolf-Tones family: Georgia McElroy (mother to Nancy McWilliams, class of 2015 and a four year member of orchestra and marching band) passed away after a valiant battle against cancer. Georgia was a staunch supporter of her daughter and the music programs at SRVHS, and she often could be seen at concerts, competitions, football games and tours.

In recognition of Georgia’s steadfast commitment to Nancy’s involvement in music, we are establishing “The McElroy Orchestral Scholarship.” Funds collected will be used to award a scholarship to one current senior orchestral student per academic year based on their commitment, enthusiasm and dedication to music.

Donating is easy. You can make out a check to “Wolf-Tones” with the notation “The McElroy Orchestral Scholarship” or “TMOS” and mail it to: Wolf-Tones, P.O. Box 1221, Danville, CA 94526. You can also look to donate through PayPal on our home page.

If you prefer to make a donation to our general fund, those contributions are also most appreciated.
