New Student Info

Welcome Future San Ramon Valley High School Wolves!

We have several wonderful instrumental music programs and we’d love for you to join us!

  • CONCERT BAND – Open to all students with previous experience with a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument

  • JAZZ ENSEMBLE – Audition only; please reach out to our Music Director, Mr. Nishida (bnishida@srvusd.net) for more details

  • ORCHESTRA – Open to all string players.  Wind, piano, and percussion players by audition only with Mr. Nishida

But wait… there’s more!!

  • Our Award-Winning MARCHING ENSEMBLE – This class counts for 5 units of PE credit (Sophomores-Seniors) and takes place after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and some Fridays for home football games, as well as 2 Saturdays for competitions during the fall semester. It is open to all students that currently play an instrument.

  • Are you an orchestra musician? You can join too! We have an Award-Winning COLOR GUARD team that performs with the Marching Ensemble that you are welcome to join.

  • Normally the Marching Ensemble participates in the Danville July 4th Parade, but due to Covid-19 the parade will be virtual this year.  But… you can see a video clip of the SRVHS Marching Wolves as part of the parade on the Kiwani’s website here and hopefully next year march with us live!

  • Come to Marching Ensemble Band Camp: August 3-7 and August 10, 2020!

Camp will run a little differently this year. We are still having it, only social distancing style!  Marching Wolves will meet for 90 minutes for each section of no more than 12 students so we can follow social distancing guidelines to keep everyone safe.  The groups will rotate on times so no one has to be the 8AM group all week!  If you have questions on Marching Camp, please reach out to our Marching Director, Mrs. Glass at (cglass@srvusd.net) or Mr. Nishida at (bnishida@srvusd.net).  Please keep watching this site for updates as they become available.

  •

And finally…

All are welcome at the Back to School BBQ on  Friday, August 7th! Join us from 5:00 – 8:30 pm outside by the Commons at SRVHS. (Please check back to this site to get updates.  We are planning on having our annual BBQ, but will have to follow the SRVUSD guidelines in effect at that time, so please check this site for updates.

  • Meet all the SRVHS musical families
